Like you, our lives have been affected by the COVID19 crisis. We’ve been looking for ways to cope, and ways to contribute. This is our understanding of what's needed, and what we can offer.

THE COVID19 SITUATION / We hope it doesn’t come to this, but we believe in being prepared. Like we’ve seen in some parts of the world, the situation can worsen quickly. With rising numbers of infections, we may experience an abrupt shortage of medical-use essentials like beds, stools and benches, shelves and storage if the pandemic gets out of control. We may also be required to put up closed, clean, sanitized shelters and field hospitals in a hurry.

RAPID DEPLOYMENT / Rapid deployment will be essential. To this end, we have investigated and aligned on two approaches for putting large, clean, well designed and durable shelters in place quickly. These can be installed on-site in days, not weeks and months. Post-use, they can be sanitized, taken down and used elsewhere, or re-purposed.

ULTRA-CLEAN / We are making our entire line of stools, benches, storage systems and beds available to medical and government agencies. We will produce these smooth, clean products in 100% stainless steel, so that they can be quickly sanitized by hosing down and washing, or with chemicals, heat, and UV.

PURPOSE OVER PROFIT / Through our networks, we’re able to produce HS products in various parts of the country and the world. For the COVID19 crisis, we offer HS products to medical and government agencies at-cost. We will also make our IP available to other companies willing to do the same.

We designed and made this Rapid-Deployment Bed, perfect for setting up quickly (and removing quickly) in field hospitals and various public buildings that are being converted for use as medical shelters. It has 5 parts, requires 0 tools and comes together in less than 2 minutes. To test this out, we assembled and disassembled it ourselves, and also asked people who were totally unfamiliar with it to give it a go - they were faster than we were!

The top and beams come from a single piece of plywood which can be procured anywhere, so there’s no need to ship those long-distance. The legs can be made at various facilities around the country, or around the world. As always, inexpensive, effective and designed to last forever.
